May 27, Saturday 10am-4pm: Citizenship in the Community Req. 7. Citizenship Project; Painting the Youth Room, Camp Promised Land.
5/27-6/2 - Green Bar Leadership

JUNE

· Regular Meetings in June will be held at the same time Sunday 4-5:30pm at the M. Baileys House for Swimming and general fun. Some boys may want to take Swimming Merit Badge, which will be offered at the same time.

· Due: Before Sunday June 10: Citizenship in the Community Req. 8. Write a two page, double spaced (typed or handwritten) paper on Cherokee County History. Include information about history, cultures, and ethnic groups of your community; its best features and poplar places where people gather; and the challenges it faces. Stage your presentation in front of your merit badge counselor and the rest of the Troop. Need at least two references.

· 06/05/2007: 6:00pm-8:00pm Citizenship in the Community Req. 3. Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Meeting. Location: Jury Assembly Room, Justice Center. Please meet at Camp Promised Land at 5:00pm or you can meet us at the event.

· 6/3-6/9 & 6/11-6/16: Green Bar Leadership

· Remember Summer Camp. We leave Sunday July 1 at 10:00am and return Saturday July 7 at approx. 4:00pm. More on this later.

JULY

· No Meetings

· July 1-7: Summer Camp at Camp Daniel Boone, NC. We leave Sunday July 1 at 10:00am and return Saturday July 7 at approx. 4:00pm

AUGUST

· Resume Regular Meetings every Sunday 4-5:30pm at East Cherokee Community Church (Promised Land). 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26

· Committee Meeting for Semi-annual Calendar

· Campout: Location TBD.
